Sockmonkeys Lewis and Nigel went on a road trip! Starting in Southern California, these two little stuffed primates traveled through Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico before heading home. They thought you’d like to see their souvenir photos for this week’s blog.
Lewis chose to ride in his handy dandy Trader Joe’s canvas bag. He thought it was fun hanging out with the maps.
Nigel tried to climb this. He didn’t get far.Baby Cow!Nigel got scared of this dinosaur. He liked this one much better.Wonder what’s out there?Time for a caffeine and sugar break! Nigel loves baklava, especially in Manitou Springs, Colorado.Nigel says he should be in the PBRNigel didn’t want to leave this new friend.Nothing says “Road Trip” like a giant rooster. Good thing there’s a seatbelt or Nigel would have fallen.“On the road again….”Lewis found a cool bunch of teepees…So he hung out there for a while in the sunshine. When we weren’t looking, Farmer Nigel climbed into this John Deere and took off for a whileWe lured him away from the tractor by promising him a horseback ride.Nigel visited four states at once! New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. He says it was too hot laying there in the sun!The End.
Hope you enjoyed the Sockmonkey Road Trip! Of course, my son Chris and I went along too…

oh yes… actually Lewis went because he’s quite chill, and Nigel went because he’s purse-sized. Although, after riding the carriage, and being put into various rocky places, he needs a bath.
Fun!

So cute! Is it time for Nigel or Lewis’s girl cousin to join the kitchen? Just wondered.
